Agape Feast Conversations: Week 25
Weekly round-up of new articles on the Internet worth reading.
“M. W. Rocca is a Pronomian Christian who lives in Sydney, Australia. Her love for the Lord Yeshua and celebrating the biblical feast days inspired her to write children’s stories for these wonderful, appointed feast dates”. I recently came across this: a pronomian sister in Messiah, on the other side of Australia! She draws and writes pro-Torah children books. I plan to order some this week.
“What is Shavuot (Pentecost)?” by Hallel Fellowship. A brief introduction.
“Coordinating Ritual and Moral Purity in the New Testament” by Jerusalem Perspective. It’s good to read widely, both views you agree with and those you don’t.
“Storge, Justice, and the Ten Commandments: Rethinking Biblical Love (Mike Tolliver) Ep. #201.” What do you think about his contentions?
“Antisemitic Attack Kills Messianic Jewish Bridge-Builder” by Joe Carter.
“The Kosher Roots of Ethiopian Coptic Cuisine” by Team Pilgrimaps. Delicious!
“Theologian N.T. Wright's thoughts on abortion are a real mess” by Not the Bee. Breathtakingly bad position by the prominent theologian. Abortion is never permissible. Wright also errs on the importance of the resurrection in the same interview.
Blast from the Past:
My brother in Messiah, Jared, alerted me to a comic book series by Joshua Myers that is pro-Torah in nature. Myers’ books can be found on Amazon and he has a webpage. I am enjoying what I have read so far!
